We were merely the out-of-state mortgage holder for the seller. The seller was more than happy with service provided.5-7 days in advance, we requested a Cashier's Check and were never told that the Title Company didn't do them.We travelled 400+ miles to collect the settlement/payoff as a Cashier's Check, sign the Release of Lien, & immediately deposit the check in our account at the local branch of a nationwide bank.(We had been advised by real estate & bankingprofessionals that "wire transfer payoffs were potentially dangerous" - providing our banking info; releasing the lien without the money secured; wire fraud; AND a wire transfer incurred an additional cost to us as well as the potential to have the wire reversed within hours under federal banking laws.)Upon arrival, we were presented a check drawn on the Title Company's account at a regional bank. That would have taken additional days to clear our bank, (Again we had been warned there was a danger that such a check might not be honored & we would have only expensive legal recourse across state lines.)We were left with the wire transfer & paying the $35 fee to the Title Company.For other purposes, we ended up going to the local bank where we learned that the Bank's fee for the wire transfer was $25 not $35 AND had we taken the prepared check directly to the Bank, they would have wired it for $5.ALL of this info should have been known to the Title Company professionals. That's their job.

Such a friendly staff that are always willing to help, no matter what the question may be! Wish I could give it 10 stars because they truly deserve it! Will always continue to work with them!

Shawn helped me tremendously when I was selling a condo and purchasing a home. I had a ton of issues with the condo's HOA and she took take of all of it so I didn't have to.
